# API for Uploading Designs and Working with Embroidery Machines



The Analytics level includes API calls to upload embroidery files to PulseIQ, colorize designs, and send designs to machines.  The Analytics level includes API calls to upload embroidery files to PulseIQ, colorize designs, and send designs to machines.  These API endpoints include:

**Uploading Embroidery Designs**

1\. /api/Designs/CreateDesignsFromFile 
2\. /api/Designs/CreateDesignsFromUrl

**API Calls Used for Machine Inquiry and Needle Color Setting**

1\. /api/Machines/List 
2\. /api/Machines/GetDefaultNeedles 
3\. /api/Machines/GetMachineNeedles 
4\. /api/Machines/UpdateMachineNeedles 
5\. /api/Colours/List 


**API Call to Send an Uploaded Design to the Machine**

1\. /api/Workflow/SendDesignsToEmbroideryMachines 
2\. /api/Workflow/GetOperationProgress 

**Notes: **

When using api/Designs/CreateDesignsFromUrl:

1.  Make sure the URL can be downloaded by anyone
2. Make sure the design name is included in the URL
